About Town Star Guide

Town Star is #PlayToEarn and everything I earn is for the El Nido Cat Sanctuary.

The El Nido Cat Sanctuary will be the first entity performing the operations of an animal shelter in a remote, rural, island paradise where the closest vet clinic used to be 5 hours away. It will seek to provide a safe and loving environment for the abandoned and abused cats, aim to significantly contribute in the control of the stray and feral cat population of El Nido, and will serve as an avenue to educate the local population as well as its visitors on understanding cats and responsible pet ownership.

VISION

  • To make respect for animals, responsible pet ownership, and preservation of wildlife the standard for our community and to influence others to do the same.

MISSION

The El Nido Cat Sanctuary exists to:

  • Provide immediate and long term solutions to cat overpopulation and the culture of abandonment and abuse of cats brought about by ignorance.
  • Reduce threats to local biodiversity (birds, rodents, insects) as a result of uncontrolled feral cat colonies.
